David Zon began his law enforcement career with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, where he served for nine years as a Special Agent assigned to the Macon Regional Drug Office. His primary responsibilities included providing undercover support for narcotics investigations.
David later joined the United States Drug Enforcement Administration, where he served for 30 years in multiple domestic and international operational offices.
In 2024, David retired from the DEA as Associate Special Agent in Charge of the New York Division.
Throughout his law enforcement career, David obtained extensive firearms, tactical, defensive, and instructor training.
